The funeral details have been announced for a "much-loved" Co Cavan priest who died yesterday.
Fr Anthony Fagan passed away at Cavan General Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
The Diocese of Kilmore has described the late Fr Anthony as a "much-loved priest of the diocese whose gentle manner, kindness, and faithful pastoral service touched countless lives over many decades of ministry."
Fr Anthony was also a Board member of Shannonside Northern Sound.
CEO Fiona Stack paid tribute to the commitment he had shown to the stations and to staff and his vision, support and kindness had been central to the development of Shannonside and Northern Sound.
Fr Anthony will repose at Clarke’s Funeral Home, Bailieborough on Thursday from 4pm to 7pm.
Removal to arrive at St. Anne’s Church, Bailieborough at 7:30pm.
His Funeral Mass will take place at 12 noon on Friday with burial afterwards in St. Anne’s Cemetery.
