Gardai in Co Cavan are appealing for information in relation to burglaries reported in the Bailieboro, Mullagh and Virginia areas.
Anyone with information or who noticed any suspicious persons or vehicles are asked to make contact with Gardai.
Gardai in Bailieboough are investigating a burglary which took place at Seefen on the 28th of April between the hours of 8am and 6pm.
The homeowners returned after being away for the day to discover a front window damaged and a side window smashed.
Entry was gained to the property and a sum of cash was stolen.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone with information on this burglary to give Bailieboro Garda Station on 0429694570.
Elsewhere in Mullagh, a burglary occurred on the 30th of April at Cloughballybeg between the hours of 11.30am and 2pm.
The homeowner returned to find the rear door damaged and the house ransacked.
Two Waterford crystal vases, a white gold engagement ring and gold and white Guess watch were all stolen. It is believed that a dark coloured Audi similar to the A4 model was sighted in the area.
Gardaí are also investigating a burglary which took place on the same day in Cornashesk, Virginia.
A house was broken into between 8am and 1pm.
The homeowner returned to find the rear sliding patio door smashed. On further inspection it was noted that a jar containing coin and foreign currency was stolen.
Gardai in Virginia are appealing to anyone who may have observed suspicious vehicles or persons in the Cornashesk area to come get in touch.
