Gardaí are investigating a road traffic collision on Main Street, Ballybay Co. Monaghan that occurred yesterday evening.
The collision involved a car and a pedestrian and occurred at approximately 8:45pm last night
The pedestrian, aged in her 60s, was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda for treatment of injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening.

The car involved in the collision failed to remain at the scene. The pedestrian was taken to Hospital to be treated for injuries believed to be non-life threatening
Enquiries are ongoing are local gardai have appealed for anyone with information to contact them. Anyone who was in the area at the time - especially those with camera footage - is asked to contact Gardaí.
