Gardai in Monaghan are investigating two break-ins to homes that occurred on Thursday the 20th April.
One occurred in the townland of Aghalissabeagh in Scotstown between 1pm and 2:30pm that afternoon where a sum of cash was taken.
The other occurred at Tirnaskea North also in Scotstown between the hours of 11am and 3:15pm the same afternoon.

Local gardai are appealing to anyone who may have been in the area at the time and may have noticed anything suspicious to contact them at Monaghan Garda Station on 047 77240.
