Gardaí are investigating an assault that occurred on Main Street, Ballyconnell, at approximately 2:20am this morning.
No arrests have been made into the late night assault.
It’s not known as of yet of what injuries have been sustained in the incident

Gardai confirmed they had sealed off the area on Main Street in the Cavan town for a time but has since reopened.
Investigations are currently ongoing.
