As part of ongoing investigations into the sale and supply of drugs in the region, Gardaí in Co Cavan seized €20,000 worth of cannabis in Kilnaleck on Friday, 7th February. The drugs were seized during a search operation at a residential property and a man (aged in his 30s) was arrested and detained at a Garda Station in the county. He has since been charged to appear before Cavan District Court next month.
