In recent days members of the Detective Branch attached to the Cavan District, accompanied by uniformed members, searched a premises under warrant in the Ballyconnell area.
A quantity of cocaine, cannabis, cannabis oil, cash and other drug paraphernalia were discovered.

A man in his 30's was arrested on Friday and detained for questioning at Ballyconnell Garda Station.
A file is currently being prepared for the D.P.P. and the investigation is ongoing.
