Gardaí are appealing to motorists to be extra cautious this weekend, with a high number of St. Patrick's Day parades taking place.
Local Gardaí are urging all road users to familiarise themselves with the day and time of the parades on their route and plan your journey accordingly.
There will be delays where parades are passing through towns, and they ask you to cooperate fully with all Gardaí and especially community volunteers and stewards.

Garda Lisa Stephens of Bailieboro Garda Station says it's important to note that road closures and delays can be experienced before and after the scheduled parade time in your area.
