A new zipline adventure park is on the way for Monaghan.
Zipit Forest Adventures applied to Monaghan County Council to construct an adventure activity course, made up of aerial trekking ziplines, nets course,and tubing course, in Rossmore Forest Park.
Also included is the construction of a single storey reception cabin and single storey staff welfare cabin.

Zipit also has locations in Lough Key Forest Park near Carrick on Shannon and in Farran Wood, Co.Cork.
Planning was granted subject to 7 conditions.
Monaghan senator Robbie Gallagher says it will add an entire new dimension to the park and attract visitors to the region.
