The government is considering reversing cuts to the Employment Wage Subsidy Scheme.
The top rate was reduced from 350 euro a week to 203 euro yesterday.
But the Fianna Fáil parliamentary party last night backed a motion to reverse the cut - and the Taoiseach's meeting the hospitality sector tomorrow about the issue.

Senator Timmy Dooley believes the old rates may be restored.
