Planning permission has been secured for a major extension to Scoil Bhride in Killeshandra.
Board of Management Scoil Bhride Killeshandra sought planning to demolish the existing storage building/ shelter and construct single storey extension to the existing school building.
The plans will now incorporate 1 No. SEN Base, 1 No. Mainstream classroom, multi-activity room, office, toilets, signage and associated accommodation together with alterations to existing school plans/elevations, connection to existing services, relocate bike shelter and all associated site works.

Cavan County Council gave the local school the green light with 8 conditions attached.
