House prices in Cavan rise by 10% since this time last year

The number of second-hand homes for sale across the country has fallen below 10 thousand.

House prices in Cavan are 10% higher than this time 12 months ago, according to a new report from Daft.ie.
While prices in Monaghan are up 4% over the same period.
The average price of a home in Co Cavan is now €229,000, 45% above the level seen at the start of the covid19 pandemic.

In Monaghan the average cost of a home is now €238,000, 34% above the level seen in 2020.
The number of second-hand homes for sale across the country has fallen below 10 thousand.
The report shows 9,300 such houses were available across the country at the beginning of the month.
