A Bulgarian national who moved to Ireland with his family more than a decade ago is set to make a bid in the upcoming local elections in Cavan.
Aontú local election candidate Tinko Tinev is a businessman and care home manager and he is running in the upcoming election in the Cavan-Belturbet LEA. He says he felt very welcome when he moved to Cavan 7 or 8 years ago and he wants to be able to give back to his community by representing them over the next five years.
Mr Tinev believes Cavan Town is a prime location for investment in the business and tourism fronts. He says Cavan is a wonderful community and the area has a very bright future. Tinko says he tries to participate has much as he in community initiatives in the area.
