Inniskeen café receives planning permission for extension to its building

An Inniskeen café has received planning permission to construct an extension to the rear of its building.

The split level, single storey extension will allow Raglan Road Tea Rooms to include additional seating, sanitary accommodation, an extended kitchen, and staff welfare facilities.

Permission has also been granted to construct a covered bicycle store.

The application said the extension is needed to meet the demand of tourists visiting the Patrick Kavanagh Centre and that the centre will stand to benefit from this extension.
