An area remains sealed off this morning in Carrickmacross following an overnight fire at a property in the town.
Gardaí are investigating the fire which occurred at an outhouse of a residential property on the Kingscourt Road in the town.
The fire was reported at 2am and it’s understood a number of fire crews were in attendance to bring the fire under control.

No injuries were reported and Gardai say the scene has been preserved for a technical examination.
