Two men were brought to hospital over the weekend following an assault in Monaghan.
Gardaí say they received a report of assaults on two men sometime between 3:45am and 4:20am on Sunday the 3rd of August at The Diamond in Monaghan Town.
Both men aged in their 20s were brought by ambulance to Cavan General Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Gardai say enquiries are currently ongoing.
