Investigations underway following discovery of body in Cootehill

Investigations are ongoing following the discovery of a body of a man in Cootehill.

Gardaí say they received a report of a medical emergency at a residence in the town at approximately 7:30pm yesterday evening,

The body of a man aged in his 30s was removed to Cavan Mortuary for a post-mortem to be carried out.

A file will now be prepared for the Coroner. Gardai say investigations are ongoing.
