An investigation has been launched by Cavan Gardai after a number of items of jewellery were taken during a robbery last week.
Two necklaces were stolen during the break-in to a house on the Farnham Road area of the town.

The incident occurred on Friday evening the 30th September after 5pm. Gardai are appealing to anyone who may have noticed suspicious activity in the area that evening to contact them at Cavan Garda Station on 049 4368800.
