Jewellery recovered following North Monaghan burglaries

Gardai in North Monaghan have made an appeal over recovered stolen jewellery which remains unidentified and unclaimed.

As a result of a Cross Border operation with An Garda Síochána and the PSNI, following a series of burglaries in north Monaghan, PSNI arrested three men.

They remain in custody on remand.

A quantity of jewellery was recovered during a number of searches during the cross border operation.

Gardai say they are "pleased to report" that some of the victims have already been reunited with their property.

However, a number of items remain unclaimed.
