There's a very special treat for anyone who's passing through Cavan town this weekend.
Over 40 large, life-sized lantern sculptures will be lit up at 6 locations around the town between 6pm & 10pm.
The exhibition 'Gathering In' features horses, sheep, people and even a large stag.

It's part of The Art Council's 'Out in Open' programme to assist people to enjoy art outdoors.
Tom Meskel, who is the lead artist, is very excited to be 'lighting up Cavan' this weekend.
