LC results, "culmination of six years' work by staff and pupils"

Principal, Eddie Kelly says his students are, in the main, happy with their results.

The Education Minister is paying tribute to students, teachers and parents on Leaving Cert results day.

Almost 61-thousand students collected their grades at schools across the country and online today.

The grades have been increased by an average of 7-point-5 per cent in post marking adjustments related to the pandemic, with the increase to return to pre-pandemic levels over time from next year.

Minister Norma Foley says it hasn’t always been easy for the class of 2024, Students and teachers across Cavan and Monaghan have been meeting up in their secondary schools to share their news of their Leaving Cert results. Although the way in which pupils receive their results has changed recently, the tradition of going into school to meet friends remains and the boys and girls of Our Lady's Secondary School in Castleblayney is no different.

Principal, Eddie Kelly says his students are, in the main, happy with their results and today is the culmination of six years' work by staff and pupils.
