More than 3,000 families received notices to quit in February alone.

The level of eviction notices for tenants this year is being compared to that seen during the famine.

Eviction orders rose by 50% in the first three months of 2025, with the RTB confirming yesterday there were more than 7,000 termination notices issues by the end of March.

More than 3,000 families received notices to quit in February alone, just before new tenancy rules came into force.
