While restrictions on work and travel remain in place for many people, the litter wardens and environmental section of Monaghan County Council have continued to work and monitor illegal dumping. Despite Covid-19, initiatives are still being planned for the coming weeks and months to help people clear rubbish from their homes. Environmental Officer Nial O’Connor joined The Wider View and started by talking about a reoccurring issue in the county – littering around bring centres.
