A local contractor is set to start work on Gate Lodge 2 in Castleblayney in the coming weeks.
Work was due to start in October after the contract was signed.
The local Municipal District has now been told Broomfield Construction will be moving it to start work on the derelict building in the next few weeks.

When completed Gate Lodge 2 will be the new home of the town library, as well as a new gallery and public space and the design for the building is currently displayed at the entrance to Hope Castle.
