Local councillor Noel Keelan has raised concerns over the new junction layout at Mary Mother of Mersey Church.
The junction is part of an active travel scheme aimed at improving pedestrian and cyclist safety.
Cllr Keelan says the design poses challenges for larger vehicles, particularly in the busy agricultural area.
He has met with council engineers, resulting in some changes, but says the junction may need further work.
Speaking to Northern Sound, Keelan says he'll continue monitoring the site.
