A local councillor has voiced concerns about a pedestrian crossing in Co Cavan.
It is reported that a pedestrian crossing on Churchstreet in Cootehill has caused people to hurt themselves.
Stiofan Conaty says it is an issue that comes up when knocking on doors in the area, particularly in the estates there.

He said it leads to people crossing the road at more dangerous points
Speaking to Northern Sound Cllr Conaty outlined why it's important to be done up properly.
