A local councillor has raised the issue of having stops between towns on the local link service.
Cllr Trevor Smith highlighted the concerns that people have raised with him at the most recent sitting of Cavan County Council.
He pointed out that people are forced to travel to the nearest town to hop on the bus even though it passes their door. He said he understands that the bus can't just stop everywhere but that if there were certain spots along the route between towns this would encourage more people to use the service.
Cllr Smith said that overall the bus link service has been very successful, adding that he believes now is the time for more stops to be added. Cllr Niamh Brady said the service should be accessible to all and at the moment with no stops in a lot of places between towns that's not the case.
Cllr Winston Bennett said as the service as grown and got more popular some changes were needed and more stops along routes was the way to go forward. Cllr Trevor Smith says it was an important issue to highlight, which is concerning for many.
