A Cavan County Councillor has called for a repairs to be carried out on a local road "that's sinking"
The issue raised the issue at the most recent meeting of Bailieborough-Cootehill municipal district.
Cllr Niall Smith raised the item, calling for repair of the road outside St. Felim's National School, which is sinking.

Speaking to Northern Sound, Cllr Smith explained that there is a significant amount of traffic on the road there, leading to a bit of subsidence.
He explained that the situation is very dangerous.
