The local farmers protesting inside Bord Bia have left the building after almost a month protesting inside.
Local farmers Richard Moran from Mountnugent, and Patrick McCormack from Monaghan were part of the group protesting inside of Bord Bia.
Yesterday evening, IFA President Francie Gorman said that a full governance review of Bord Bia will examine issues that have come to light during the controversy relating to Chair Larry Murrin.
The Board will continue to meet during the review, but Larry Murrin will step aside from chairing the meetings. They will be chaired by another board member.
The Minister for Agriculture, Martin Heydon said: “It is now time to come together to support the essential work of Bord Bia, which delivers important benefits for farmers and the agri-food sector as a whole.”
