A local lactation consultant and antenatal educator is reminding new mothers that support is out there.
Aoife Lennon recently qualified as a International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, and owns a business called Bumps and Báinne.
She aims to help new and expecting parents cope with the world of newborns.
As a mother herself, Aoife says she understands the pressure and obstacles new mothers can face.
She faced her own struggle breastfeeding her own son, which is what inspired her to pursue this path.
Speaking to Northern Sound Aoife said there's pressure to be perfect.
