A Cavan priest has been praised in the Seanad for the support he gave to Eden Heaslip.
Eden Heaslip died by suicide last September after he was bullied over a period of time, with Fr Jason Murphy being the person the Cavan teenager chose to confide in.
The Diocese of Kilmore priest previously told Shannonside Northern Sound that he was moved to tears by what he heard.

Speaking in the Seanad this week, Senator Joe O'Reilly said Fr Jason is a role model for others to admire.
