A local Senator has raised concerns around young people vaping.
Joe O'Reilly has said that stronger action is needed to protect young people as youth vaping has become a strong concern for parents, schools and communities.
The Fine Gael Senator said that recent figures are showing increased vaping among teenagers highlight the need for clearer rules.
He also noted that stronger oversight of retail practices, clearer packaging and display rules and targeted education campaigns would help reduce experimentation among teenagers.
Speaking to Northern Sound, Senator O'Reilly outlined his main concerns.
