A local SVP representative is asking people to avoid unlicensed loan sharks
at this time.
Madeline Uí Mhéalóid says that it is common that families who are struggling
will run into credit card debt after the Christmas period.
She says in the first instance people should try and live within their
means, however, if they are in the position they should go to the bank or
Credit Union and request a term loan.

become victims to loan sharks as there is always another option:
