Sinn Féin is calling for more detail to be provided around the funding going to those providing international protection services.
The party says there must be more transparency, with the spend on IPAS accommodation surpassing a billion euro in 2024.
Justice Spokesman Matt Carthy, says they don't get access to enough detail about the condition of the centres in question: "We get a final figure in terms of what companies receive but we don't get how many beds they're providing, what service they're providing or whether or not basic things as to whether or not the accommodation provided actually has fire certificates. None of that is divulged to the public and when you're talking but sums in access of one billion euro then I don't believe that is a fair system."
