A local TD says the Government must prioritise renovating vacant properties in the New Year.
Sinn Fein's Pauline Tully says there are not enough homes on the private or public market and those that are, often don't accept HAP recipients.
She also says that voids funding is not enough as there is a shortage of construction workers and this also needs to be addressed.
