A local TD says that legacy issues must get priority attention in all Irish-British discussions.
Brendan Smith spoke in the Dail in response to the establishment of annual UK-Ireland summits, which he welcomed.
He called for the institutions established under the Good Friday Agreement to be maximised to the best possible extent.
He highlighted the 1972 Belturbet bombing and the 1974 Dublin and Monaghan bombings.
Speaking in the Dail, Deputy Smith said families affected by those atrocities have waited decades for justice and deserve answers.
