A local TD says new solar grants for businesses will help reduce increasing energy costs.
The Government has announced supports of up to €2,400 for the installation of solar PV panels to businesses, public organisations and community groups.
It's estimated that businesses could save up to €3,000 per year from having solar panels on their buildings.

Fianna Fail TD Niamh Smyth says it would work with other supports too.
