New research commissioned by Kingsbridge Private Hospital revealed that over 76% of Cavan residents are unaware of the Northern Ireland Planned Healthcare Scheme (NIPHS).

With over three quarters of Cavan residents unaware of the scheme, GP liaison officer with Kingsbridge, Gareth Crudden believes this data shows a "major gap" in awareness around cross-border healthcare.
As a result of this, Kingsbridge Medical are hosting an open day today in the Cavan Crystal Hotel from 10am until 5pm.
