The N54 road leading from Monaghan Town to the Coolshannagh roundabout has re-opened following an earlier incident.
A lorry overturned on the busy roundabout between the exits for Monaghan Town and the N2 for Emyvale around lunchtime today. A crane was deployed to the scene and Gardaí were in attendance.
A Garda spokesperson confirmed to Northern Sound a short time ago that the HGV has now been removed from the area and officers are "mopping up" at the scene, while the road is fully re-opened to traffic.
