Funding of €25,000 has been approved under a health initiative for additional facilities for swimming at Brackley Lake, Bawnboy.
This funding will help with the development of an accessible changing facility, alongside additional equipment and infrastructure improvements.
Cllr Aine Smith said she is "delighted" to welcome funding of €25,000 for Brackley Lake.

Cllr Smith told Northern Sound: "This is great news for our wonderful amenity that is used everyday by local groups. This will enable even more people to access this great amenity and reap the physical and mental health benefits associated with outdoor swimming."
