Major traffic incident being reported in Dublin city centre

Gardaí and the emergency services are at the scene of a major traffic incident in Dublin city centre.

RTE News are reporting that a number of people have been seriously injured.

A Bus Éireann double decker bus was coming up Talbot street at around 12.30pm to take a left on to the one way system on to Marlborough Street.

However, the bus appears to have careered across the road and on to the pedestrianised area.

A number of people were hit by the bus and the area has been sealed off at present.
