Male in his 30s charged following road traffic collision in Castleblayney

A male (aged in his 30s) has been charged following a road traffic collision which occurred on the N2 in Castleblayney, Co Monaghan yesterday afternoon, Wednesday 4^th January 2023.

Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a two vehicle road traffic collision yesterday afternoon.

The man aged in his 30s was  arrested in relation to the incident yesterday afternoon and taken into custody.

The male is due to appear before Cavan District Court this morning, at 10.30am.

Meanwhile, the N2 between Monaghan and Castleblayney has since  reopened.
