Gardaí from Kilnaleck, accompanied by colleagues from Cavan, arrested a man at the weekend folloiwing the discovery of a large quantity of illegal drugs.
Cannabis to the value of €12,000 and a quantity of suspected cocaine to the value of €3,000 was discovered in a house which was searched under warrant.

A man in his 40s was arrested and taken to Cavan Garda Station for questioning.
He has since been charged with drug related offences and is now before the Courts.
