A man's been killed in a road collision between an e-scooter and a van in Co Sligo. It happened just after 8 o'clock last night in the townland of Rusheen, Riverstown.
The man who was aged in his 50's was on the e-scooter when he was hit by the van. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the van who is aged in his 30's is being treated for minor injuries at Sligo University Hospital. The L1303 road is currently closed while a forensic collision investigation is carried out and Gardaí are appealing for witnesses.
