An investigation has been launched following the tragic death of a man in the Mullahoran area of Co Cavan following a work accident yesterday.
The man is believed to be a father of four, died a short time after the incident as a result of the injuries sustained. It was the second work related fatality in the county in the last five days.
The Health and Safety Authority (HSA) has confirmed to Northern Sound News it is aware of the tragic incident and has launched an investigation. The spokesperson for the HSA added that no further information was available at this time.
