A man has died after collapsing on Cuilcagh Mountain today.
Northern Sound FM understands the man died from a medical emergency.

Emergency services attended the scene which included the National Ambulance Service, fire crews from Ballyconnell along with Gardai and the North West Mountain Rescue Team.

It’s also believed that local farmers from the area had been assisting the emergency services with the operation.
North West Mountain Rescue Team were called to the scene at approximately 10.25am in the Cuilcagh Mountain area along with the other emergency services.
The local rescue team assisted with the incident and left the area before midday.

Gardai confirmed earlier to Northern Sound that they were assisting emergency services at the scene of a medical incident at Legnaderk, Co Cavan.
While, Cavan Fire Service confirmed that Ballyconnell Fire Brigade assisted the National Ambulance Service with a medical emergency on Cuilcagh on Sunday morning.
