A man is appearing in court this morning in Cavan charged in relation to an incident at a takeaway on Tuesday night.
It's understood the man in his 30s was arrested after a video circulated on social media appearing to show him brandishing a gun at staff in a takeaway premises in Cavan Town.
A Garda raid on a house by members of the Armed Support Unit was also carried out on Wednesday, which is believed to have led to the arrest of the man.

He has now been charged and is due before a sitting of Cavan District Court this morning where he may be remanded on bail or held in custody.
