A man was hospitalised after an assault and endangerment in Clones.
The incident occurred in the town just after 2 o'clock this morning.

A man in his 30s was brought to Cavan General Hospital for treatment, but his injuries are not life-threatening.
No arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing.
