A man in his 60s who, last month, was granted bail in relation to a fatal collision which took place on the N54 at Legnakelly near Clones last July is set to appear in court later this morning. Teenagers Kiea McCann and Dlava Mohammed died as a result of the collision.
Anthony McGinn of Drumloo, Newbliss in Co Monaghan who is charged in relation to the fatal road traffic collision is due to appear before Monaghan District Court this morning. The defendant is charged with dangerous driving causing the death of teenagers Kiea McCann and Dlava Mohammed and also dangerous driving causing serious bodily harm to another person.
Best friends 17-year-old Kiea McCann and 16-year-old Dlava Mohamed tragically lost their lives on July 31st, when the car they were travelling in, hit a tree on a section of the N54 at Legnakelly near Clones. The Monaghan teenagers were on their way to the Largey College School debs at the time.
