A man in his 30s, arrested on suspicion of the murder of a woman in Sligo, remains in custody this morning. Angela Canavan, aged in her 50s, was found dead at her home at St John's Terrace in the town last Monday.
Gardaí made the arrest yesterday morning, and the man continues to be questioned at a garda station in the North Western Region.
